Dr. A. Robert Buonanno has been named chairman of surgery at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence.
A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, he is a member of the hospital’s medical staff and also heads the Center for Orthopaedics Inc. in Johnston.
Buonanno is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
He completed his graduate studies at the New Jersey School of Medicine.
