Matt Montgomery has joined Rhode Island School of Design’s (RISD) department of
external relations as senior media specialist. He will handle local, regional
and national media relations efforts for the RISD museum and selected activities
for the school. He was formerly the director of communications at the Atlanta
College of Art (ACA) and public information officer for the DeKalb County Public
Library in Georgia. Montgomery got his master’s degree in English from Georgia
State University and his bachelor’s from the University of Georgia. He is a resident
of Providence.
