Edward W. Martin has been named chief medical officer at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island. Martin will have overall responsibility for the direction of the medical component of the patient care program. In addition, he has served since 1989 as a medical officer in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve and Rhode Island National Guard, attaining the rank of colonel. He has a B.A., an M.A. and an M.D. from Brown University. •
