AutoAdvice provides an inexpensive, effective and automated way to better manage the proliferation of servers and the growing complexity of IT infrastructure. AutoAdvice expands the ControlCenter reporting and monitoring capabilities up to servers, databases and applications, eliminating repetitive manual tasks and automatically turning raw system metrics into expert advice. AutoAdvice isolates emerging performance trends before they impact operations and delivers expert analysis that’s specific to the customer’s environment.

“AutoAdvice provides customers with the tools they need to manage more assets, more accurately, and with fewer resources. Delivering end-to-end automation and accurate database and system availability takes more than point products–it takes powerful new software technologies that can collect and deliver detailed information automatically, without increasing over burdened IT staffs,” said Tony Marzulli, EMC’s vice president of open software marketing.
