Emilio S. Belaval has been appointed chief medical adviser at Ximedica. He will be responsible for helping to improve health care delivery workflow redesign, and will serve as a clinical expert for Ximedica’s medical-device product-development efforts. In addition to clinical-practice experience, Belaval has provided consulting to hospitals around the country, as well as Puerto Rico and Latin America. •
