FAA approves two more schools for sound insulation

WARWICK — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has notified the Rhode Island Airport Corporation that E.G. Robertson and John Brown Francis Elementary Schools in Warwick are eligible for sound insulation. The decision was the result of an airport corporation appeal of the FAA’s earlier rejection of eligibility including the two schools. The FAA had already approved insulation at Pilgrim and Veterans High Schools, Holliman, John Wickes and Saint Rose of Lima Elementary Schools.
