FleetBoston Financial declares preferred stock dividend

FleetBoston Financial has declared a regular quarterly dividend of $.843750 per depositary share on the corporation’s Series VI 6.75% Perpetual Preferred Stock (FBF PrG). The preferred stock dividend for this issue is payable April 15 to shareholders of record as of April 1.
