Freestanding emergency care center opens in Warwick

StatCare, a freestanding, family emergency care center, has opened in the Warwick Medical Building on Route 2, adjacent to the Warwick Mall. StatCare provides an array of urgent medical services including pediatric and adult care for West Bay residents.

StatCare, a subsidiary of University Emergency Medicine Foundation, said it will be open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.

The facility is staffed by board-certified emergency medicine and pediatric physicians who are affiliated with Rhode Island, Hasbro Children’s and Miriam Hospitals.

An open house will be hosted by StatCare on Wednesday, February 28 from 1 to 7 p.m. The public is invited to tour the facility and meet the physicians and staff.
