FALL RIVER, Mass. — The Fall River Office of Economic Development (FROED) has reported its annual lending activities for 2000.
According to the office, in 2000 FROED approved 31 loans, or nearly $2.7 million, to startup companies, expanding companies, or companies that relocated to Fall River. In addition, private investment, which includes money from companies’ own equity, as well as bank loans, totaled nearly $11 million for the year.
