Full Channel appoints new COO

Full Channel TV, Inc. President and owner Hilda Donofrio announced on Friday that Linda Jane Maaia will serve as chief operating officer for the company, effective immediately.

Donofrio made the announcement after taking over the company on August 27 upon the sudden death of her husband John Donofrio, Jr., president and CEO.

Maaia is the oldest daughter of Donofrio and a professor and CPA with more than a decade of experience in both the public and private sectors, the company said. She also has experience as a financial consultant advising Full Channel and other organizations. Company officials have said that the company will continue to operate as it has for the past 22 years, since it began providing service in the East Bay.

Full Channel has been a major provider of broadband cable service for more than 2o years in Barrington, Warren and Bristol. The company’s recent digital upgrades include high definition TV, high-speed internet access and telephone services.

Full Channel said it has recently filed with the RI Division of Public Utilities and Carriers for authority to expand its network to East Providence.
