Walk America supporters meet

in Lincoln.

Representatives from various Rhode Island organizations recently gathered at Amica Mutual Insurance Company’s corporate headquarters in Lincoln to gear up for the WalkAmerica 2001 March of Dimes annual fund-raiser. Introduced as this year’s Rhode Island March of Dimes ambassador family was the Ohsbergs. The ambassador family raises awareness of the organization’s mission and accomplishments throughout the state. The family was chosen because of the direct impact March of Dimes has had on their lives; their triplets, all born prematurely at Women & Infants Hospital, are healthy due in part to research supported by the March of Dimes.

Pictured are representatives from Amica, Fleet, EDS, Women & Infants and Hasbro Children’s Hospitals, Narragansett Electric, AAA, FedEx, Sovereign Bank, Rhode Island Resource Recovery, Johnson & Wales University, and students from West Warwick High School.
