G. Alan Kurose has been appointed to the board of directors for the Rhode Island Quality Institute. Kurose is president and CEO of Coastal Medical, a position he has held since 2008. He is also chair of the executive committee of CSI-RI, Rhode Island’s all-payer, patient-centered medical-home project. Kurose has also been a member of several other boards and committees. •
