After just one week unchanged, gasoline prices in Rhode Island have risen again, reaching the $2.209 mark for the first time, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s April 25 survey of prices in Rhode Island found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.209 per gallon, up 2 cents from last week. Since the beginning of the year the average price for self-serve unleaded has risen 37 cents per gallon, with the price above $2.00 for almost two months. The price was $1.789 at this point a year ago.
