Gregory W. Smolan has been named an assistant vice president in the personal lines products division at Amica Mutual Insurance Co., based in Lincoln. He began working with the company in 1992, holding various positions of increasing responsibility. Smolan received the designation of chartered property casualty underwriter. He lives in Cumberland.
