GTECH gets $750 million pact with Texas

WEST GREENWICH – GTECH Holdings Corp. announced it has won a nine-year, $750 million contact with the Texas State Lottery Commission. Under the terms of the contract, GTECH will operate the state’s online and instant ticket games, and will install a statewide retail lottery network. Furthermore, GTECH will continue to operate and maintain the Texas central lottery systems and communications network, the Providence Journal reported.
