GTECH has new chief executive

WEST GREENWICH — GTECH Holdings Corp. introduced its new chief executive officer, Howard S. Cohen, last week. Cohen comes to GTECH from Bell & Howell Corp., where he had been president and chief executive officer of the mail-messaging and imaging business units in Chicago for the last five months until the company decided to sell off those units. He replaces W. Bruce Turner, who had been interim chief executive after the company’s previous chief executive, William O’Connor was forced to step down.
