Hammang moving to Economic Policy Council

PROVIDENCE — Joseph Hammang, until recently the vice president for science, technology
and business development at the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation,
last week moved to the Rhode Island Economic Policy Council where he will run
the state’s Samuel Slater Technology Fund and six Slater Centers, which he had
been overseeing on a part–time basis from his post at RIEDC. Hammang will retain
his title of Governor’s Advisor for Science and Technology.
