Hasbro recalls cookie sets on allergy concern

Hasbro Inc., the world’s No. 2 toymaker, is recalling 155,000 Easy-Bake Bake ‘N
Design cookie mixes because they contain ingredients that may
cause serious allergy reactions for some consumers.

The $6.99 cookie mix, sold in major U.S. toy stores and
discounters since November 2001, contains milk proteins and may
also include peanuts, both of which are not declared on the
product label, Hasbro said in a statement. One illness has been
reported in Canada and none to date in the U.S.
