Lane Robson, MD has been named pediatrician-in-chief at Memorial Hospital of Rhode
Island in Pawtucket. He was formerly employed as director of pediatric nephrology
at the University of Canada in Alberta and Greenville Children’s Hospital in South
Carolina, where he also was director of continuing medical education. He is board
certified in pediatrics and pediatric nephrology. He is a professor of pediatrics
at Brown University Medical School. Robson was awarded the 1998 State of South
Carolina Maternal and Child Health Award and was named Teacher of the Year at
Foothills Provincial Hospital in 1991. He is a fellow with the American Academy
of Pediatrics, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the Royal
College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the Royal Society of Health.
He is a member of the International Children’s Continence Society, International
Society of Pediatric Nephrology, and the International Society of Nephrology.
