August Cordeiro has been named vice president for patient support services at Rhode Island, The Miriam and Bradley Hospitals. He will be responsible for a wide range of hospital-based services, including diagnostic imaging, pathology and laboratories, social services, diagnostic, rehabilitation, respiratory, nutrition and laundry services. Cordeiro earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island and a master’s degree in health services administration from Salve Regina University. He is certified in health care management by the American College of Healthcare Executives.
