Home Depot approved for Westerly

WESTERLY – After winning final approval from the town Zoning Board, Home Depot has been approved for construction of a store at the rear of the Franklin Street Shopping Center. Cornerstone LLC, representing Home Depot, satisfied all objections to the development raised by and before the board in two years of meetings and received its unanimous approval. Plans call for groundbreaking within two months with construction of the 120,000-square-foot home improvement store expected to be completed next year.
