House approves corporation law changes

The House of Representatives continues to modernize the Rhode Island Business Corporation Act, following last year’s revision of the law.

Two bills amend various sections of the law. The first amends parts of the Business Corporations Act dealing with trade name and information use. The second amends the law regarding professional service and nonprofit corporations and LLCs.
