The Rhode Island Special House Commission to Study Gaming will meet tonight (Dec. 3) at 5 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House to hear a presentation from representatives of Harrah’s Entertainment.
Gary Loveman, president of Harrah’s, is scheduled will address the commission, which will continue a discussion of whether the establishment of one or more casinos in the state would “cause significant social harm or any substantial economic harm to the state” from lost lottery income or other gambling revenue, a General Assembly press release said.

The meeting will air on cable TV (Channel 23 on Cox Communications) by Capitol Television, the cable TV unit of the Rhode Island General Assembly. For customers of Full Channel TV, the program will appear on Channel 50.
