James Joyce Jr. has been named vice president, commercial real estate at Bank Rhode Island in Providence. He was formerly vice president, regional manager of People’s Bank, Norwich, Conn. In his new role, Joyce is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing clients and providing commercial real estate financing to investors and developers in markets served by the bank. He has a master’s degree from Bryant College.
