James P. Scanlan has been named director and planning officer at Washington Trust Wealth Management’s Weston Financial division. He brings to the position more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, including his time as partner at an independent wealth-management firm. A resident of North Kingstown, Scanlan holds a B.S. in business administration from Stonehill College. •
