Jeanie Charness has been designated executive director of FRIENDS WAY in East Greenwich. She most recently held the position of education director of The Tom Cohen School, Temple Torat Yisrael. Charness has extensive experience in the areas of board development, fundraising and marketing and communications of non-profits. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Vassar College in N.Y. Charness and her family live in West Greenwich.
