JobsInRI.com sets record for ‘unique visits’

JobsInRI.com, an Internet recruiting site, announced Monday that it set a company record with 128,813 unique visits to the site in January. This number of visits is up from 97,916 in December, the company said. JobsInRI.com also saw an increase in the total number of resumes posted on the Web site, nearly doubling from December to January.

JobsInRI.com is operated by Westbrook, Maine-based JobsInTheUS.com, which also runs JobsInME.com, JobsInNH.com and JobsInVT.com. The company was recently acquired by the Journal Register Company, based in Trenton, N.J., which currently owns more than 350 publications and operates 212 individual Web sites that are affiliated with the company’s daily newspapers and non-daily publications. Journal Register owns 27 daily newspapers.
