John H. Coughlin has been appointed senior vice president/senior counsel at Citizens Financial Group Inc. in Providence. He joined Citizens from Duffy, Sweeney & Scott Ltd. where he was of counsel. Coughlin has a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Tufts University in Boston and a J.D. degree from Boston College School of Law. He lives in North Kingstown.
