John H. King has been named chief financial officer for Gannon & Scott, located in Cranston. His responsibilities include strategic planning, treasury and finance, trading, accounting, MIS, risk management and compliance, smelter-refiner relationships, and general administration. King previously held the position of executive vice president. He serves as president of the New England Chapter of the International Precious Metals Institute. King also acts as director of Providence Ronald McDonald House. He is a graduate of The College of Staten Island and New York University. King lives in North Kingstown.
