John R. O’Leary has been promoted to area director of the Providence and Worcester, Mass. offices of Spherion Corporation. He manages the overall operations of the offices that specialize in professional placement and direct hire positions. He previously held the position of branch director of the Providence office. He received a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College in Easton, Mass.
