Judy Beckman, University of Rhode Island accounting professor, has been named an American Council on Education Fellow for the 2004-2005 academic year. She will serve at the University of Vermont and will attend seminars on issues critical to higher education with her ACE colleagues in Denver, San Diego and Washington, D.C. Beckman received her PhD from, Texas Tech University. She lives in Narragansett.
