Kara Anne Stavros of Westerly recently received the 2nd Annual Joseph N. Cugini Scholarship from Westerly Community Credit Union. The $1,000 scholarship was awarded to the Westerly High School senior for her balance of academics and community service. She also received a $500 scholarship from the Rhode Island Credit Union League. She plans to attend New York University in the fall.
