Karen Talbot has been promoted to senior vice president of operations at Bank Rhode Island. She will be responsible for overseeing all deposit operations for the bank. Talbot has more than 20 years of experience in banking, and has worked for BankRI since it opened in 1996. She attended Mitchell and Three Rivers Community/Technical College, and continued her education at the American Institute of Banking. •
