Kathryn Farrington has been promoted to director of marketing and community partnerships of Newport County Convention & Visitors Bureau (NCCVB) in Newport. She has worked for NCCVB for 13 years, most recently as director of communications. In her new role, Farrington oversees all marketing efforts to promote Newport as a destination for both leisure and business travel. She lives in Portsmouth.
