The Senate Judiciary Committee today will consider legislation to delay the implementation of the Lead Hazard Mitigation Act for one year. The act was to begin July 1.
Under the act, property owners of pre-1978 rental dwellings will need to mitigate lead hazards and comply with several other requirements.
