Leigh Ann Woisard, director of public relations for Rhode Island and Connecticut for Cox Communications Inc. for the last seven years, was recently elected president of the Public Relations Society of America’s Southeastern New England Chapter. A veteran in communications, Woisard has worked at major agencies, at the State House, as district director for U.S. Rep. Robert Weygand, and for a now-defunct health and education nonprofit.
