Linda A. Buchanan has been named vice president and branch manager of BankNewport’s Ports-mouth office. Buchanan began her career at BankNewport in 2001 and has held various positions, most recently serving as vice president and manager of the bank’s Stone Bridge office in Tiverton. She will be responsible for branch operations, business development and staff development. •
