Lisa Desbiens has been appointed director of development and major gifts for The Providence Center. In addition to her fundraising efforts, Desbiens will serve as a key member of the Center’s leadership team, assisting with strategic planning for external relations and Center-wide program initiatives. She previously worked as director of development for the Girl Scouts of Rhode Island. Desbiens earned a certified fund raising executive certification from the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. Desbiens is a resident of Hopkinton.
