Raytheon gets
OK on Navy project
LEXINGTON, Mass. – Raytheon Co. got the go-ahead to start full production of a system that enables ships and surveillance aircraft to instantly share digital data on enemy cruise missiles and aircraft, said a Navy spokesman. Bloomberg News reported that the Pentagon’s decision allows the Navy to buy up to 60 sets of software and hardware. Earlier orders for 58 systems were worth $1.2 billion to Raytheon, company officials said.

MAYNARD, Mass. – Maynard, Mass.-based Monster.com saw record breaking traffic during the month of March, achieving site traffic records for three consecutive months in 2002. Site traffic figures from Media Metrix, an independent researcher based in New York, confirm Monster as the most visited online careers property with an all-time high 15.4 million unique visitors last month. Additionally, Monster achieved an all-time high 43 million unique visits (representing an average of 1,387,794 visits per day) during the month of March. Monster is the flagship brand of TMP Worldwide Inc.
HKS joins Dassault
software community program
PAWTUCKET and PARIS – Dassault Systemes and Hibbitt, Karlsson & Sorensen, Inc. (HKS), makers of the ABAQUS suite of simulation solutions, have announced the signing of a development agreement making HKS a partner within the CAA V5 Software Community Program. Under this agreement, HKS will integrate ABAQUS technology within the CATIA V5 user environment to provide integrated access to the simulation capabilities of ABAQUS.
