LiveWave Inc., a developer of video surveillance solutions for mission critical security applications, announced it has received a contract from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Protective Service to upgrade its video surveillance systems at several federal buildings in the Boston area.
The mission of the Federal Protective Service is to provide law enforcement and security services to more than 1 million tenants and daily visitors to all federally owned and leased facilities nationwide. The service focuses directly on the interior security of the nation and the reduction of crimes and potential threats to federal facilities throughout the nation.
