The diverse group includes representatives of large and small businesses, non-profit organizations and government agencies from all sectors of the state community. The commencement was held at Quidnessett Country Club on October 25th, and was co-sponsored by WJAR NBC10 and the law firm of St. Peter and Kasle. Leadership Rhode Island’s mission is to provide the state with an on-going source of business and community leaders, who are prepared and committed to serve as catalysts and sustainers of positive community change. This year marks the 20th anniversary of this non-profit leadership development institute, which has now graduated almost 1000 influential leaders.
