Madeline A. O’Connell has been promoted to assistant vice president in the mortgage origination department of Fall River Five Cents Savings Bank. An employee of the bank for 28 years, O’Connell is a graduate of the MA School for Financial Studies at Babson College. She has completed a management residential lending program. She is president of the Fall River Exchange Club and treasurer of Citizens Scholarship Foundation. O’Connell and her husband live in Fall River.
