Malcolm G. Chace was recently named a member of the Rhode Island Hospital board of trustees. He is chairman of Bancorp of R.I. and Southeastern New England Shipbuilding Company (SENESCO) and director of Berkshire Hathaway. Chace is a graduate of Yale University and served in the Army. He also received an honorary doctorate from Brown University.
