Marie Sheva has been named campaign ambassador for the United Way of Rhode Island.
In this position, she will be a liaison between the United Way and its workplace campaigns.
Sheva, who previously had worked in construction management for two years, is also the author of “The Year of the Dogs.”
She attended both the University of Rhode Island and Bryant University.
