Jeff Wilkins has been elected chief executive officer and chairman of the board at MarketModels, a provider of Internet marketing lists and Web-accessible database delivery systems located in Wickford. He previously served as senior vice president of 24/7 Media, a Nasdaq-listed Internet marketing services company, and he co-founded and served as president at Sift, Inc., which was acquired by 24/7 in March 1999. Wilkins also led the sales and marketing working groups at CommerceNet, an Internet e-commerce consortium based in Palo Alto, California. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Duke University and received his master’s and a doctorate in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
