Maureen Bjorkland has been promoted to vice president and accounting officer at Washington Trust Bancorp Inc. subsidiary The Washington Trust Co. She joined the bank in 2006 as assistant vice president and accounting officer. Bjorkland is a member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants and the American Society of Women Accountants. She holds an MBA from the University of New Haven. •
