Michael A. Urgo of Westerly was recently appointed branch manger of in-store banking at Washington Trust’s McQuade’s Marketplace location in downtown Westerly. Urgo is now responsible for managing the branch. He started with Washington Trust in 2000 and was most recently a merchant sales representative. Urgo has an associate’s degree in business management from the Community College of Rhode Island and has served as co-chairman for the American Cancer Society’s Westerly Relay for Life the past two years.
