Michael P. Carey has been appointed director of the Centers for Behavioral Medicine and Preventive Medicine at The Miriam Hospital. In addition, he will serve as a professor of psychiatry and human behavior at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Carey earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University and completed his internship at Brown University. •
