Michele Sczerbinski Diaz has been named head of the institutional advancement division at The Wheeler School in Providence. She leads a 10-member team that directs activities in alumni and parent relations, public relations and publications, special events and fundraising. She previously worked as a major gifts officer at Bryant College in Smithfield. Diaz is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Rhode Island chapter’s board of directors. She received a bachelor’s degree from Boston University. She and her husband live in Warwick.
