Mike Barrett has been named Director of Business Development at the Providence Marriott Downtown. His background includes sales and marketing positions for Westin Hotel Providence (now the Omni Providence), the InterContinental Boston Hotel, Hotel Commonwealth in Boston, and most recently as senior corporate sales manager at Furnished Quarters in New York. Barrett lives in Hingham, Mass.
